Data Protection

Webartstudio places the utmost priority on the protection of your personal data and complies with the current legislation of the Personal Data Protection Authority 2472/97, which applies to personal data databases, as well as with the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). It is committed to their full implementation by adopting the appropriate technical and administrative measures.

Webartstudio has implemented technical measures that ensure the protection of personal data during transmission, management, and storage; however, the nature of the internet is such that nothing can guarantee absolute protection. For this reason, you may also contact us by alternative means (e.g., by telephone).

We take care to collect only data that is absolutely necessary for fulfilling the purpose for which it was provided and use it exclusively and solely for that purpose. With the exception of any data collected via cookies, the data is limited to what you have explicitly provided for a specific purpose and only if you have given your consent. Additionally, we collect data during your visit to our website, provided you have consented to it—consent evidenced by the completion of the relevant fields.

The processing of your data is carried out in accordance with:

  • the terms of our contractual relationship,

  • your consent, where required,

  • the obligations of Webartstudio arising from the law (e.g., tax, labor, insurance legislation, etc.), and

  • the legitimate interest of Webartstudio.

The processing of your data is performed either by specially authorized personnel of Webartstudio, or via its IT systems and electronic devices, and exceptionally by third parties who, having contractually committed to maintaining confidentiality and protecting your data, process it exclusively and only for the purposes for which it was provided.

Cookies

For the smooth functioning of its websites, Webartstudio uses cookies. Cookies are text files that are stored by the user’s browser on their computer. By using cookies, Webartstudio can provide services that would not be possible without them.

Webartstudio may use software such as Google Analytics to analyze the use of its pages, the interactions on the pages, and the paths followed through its websites.

Users can delete cookies from their browser or disable them entirely.

More information about cookies, how to manage them, and how to delete them can be found at www.aboutcookies.org.

Collection of General Data and Information

When using the Webartstudio website, details such as the user’s IP address, browser type, operating system, the date and time of each request to our servers, the referrer (i.e., where the user came from), and other similar elements are collected and stored in our server log files. These elements cannot identify the user but are necessary for monitoring the smooth operation of our servers, optimizing our advertising, and providing information to authorities in case of cyber attacks.

Newsletter Subscription and Contact Forms

On the Webartstudio website, users can subscribe to our newsletter and contact us through the contact form or the request form for our price list and other materials. In these cases, the email, name, date and time of submission, and the user’s IP address are stored on our server as well as with an external newsletter service (MailChimp), and the sending of informational and educational emails is initiated. In each email, the recipient has the option to unsubscribe from further emails by selecting the unsubscribe option provided in that newsletter.

The informational and educational emails from Webartstudio contain tracking pixels that allow us to statistically analyze the success or failure of each send. From the tracking pixel, we can see if an email was opened and which links were clicked.

In the event that you request an offer for website construction or an advertising campaign through the contact form, your details are stored in our CRM (monday.com) and/or our ERP for processing by the Webartstudio sales department.

If you are under 16 years old, you must obtain parental consent before subscribing to the newsletter.

Blog Comments

Users of our site have the ability to leave comments on our blog. In this case, the name, email, date and time of posting, and the IP address are stored on our servers. If another user leaves a comment on a blog post where previous comments exist, the previous commenters are notified by email about the new comment. This is necessary so that they can respond promptly.

CV Submission and Registration in the Candidate Evaluation System

If you send us your CV to work at Webartstudio or register in the candidate evaluation system, you will be asked for various personal details such as your date of birth, place of residence, personal interests, previous employers, work history, education, etc. These details are stored on our servers and are not disclosed to third parties.

User Rights

Users of the Webartstudio website, as data subjects, retain the following rights: a) the right of access,
b) the right to rectification,
c) the right to deletion,
d) the right to restrict processing,
e) the right to object to processing,
f) the right to data portability,
g) the right to file a complaint with the supervisory authority,
h) the right to be informed regarding the rectification or deletion of personal data or restrictions on processing,
i) the right to be informed in the event of a breach of the security of personal data, and
j) the right to withdraw consent for the processing of personal data.

You may withdraw your consent at any time in writing by sending your request to the email info@webartstudio.gr.

This does not apply to data that must be retained for tax purposes (for example, if we have invoiced you for a service, your details must remain in our accounting software and in the records of the accounting office that serves us).

Personal Data for the Fulfillment of Our Services

You may be asked for personal data in order to fulfill services to you, such as providing hosting, domain registration, etc. These details are provided for the purpose of fulfilling the service and are also made available to the respective providers, name registries, SSL issuers, server providers, etc.

Statistical Analysis of Traffic Data

Behavioral data on our sites, such as which pages are visited, time spent on the site, the referrer (i.e., from which site the user came), frequency of visits, etc., are stored by third-party services such as Google Analytics for the purpose of improving Webartstudio’s marketing. These details do not personally identify users. These third-party services store cookies in order to function.

Remarketing

For advertising purposes, traffic data is provided to third-party services, such as Google and Facebook, for the purpose of displaying advertising messages on third-party websites.

Payment Method: Data Protection Provisions

If the data subject chooses to pay by credit or debit card as the payment option, we automatically transmit the data of the data subject to the selected payment provider. By choosing the credit or debit card payment option, the data subject unconditionally agrees to the transmission of the personal data required for the processing of the payments. The transmission of data is intended for processing payments and preventing fraud. Banking confidentiality provisions apply.

Transaction Security

Recognizing the importance of the security of electronic payments, we use the most secure payment methods available, such as EveryPay, Stripe, PayPal, etc.

EveryPay is a licensed Payment Institution by the Bank of Greece (decision no. 280/3-7-2018, Government Gazette B 3010/25-7-2018) and securely manages payment card transaction data in accordance with the regulatory framework of the card transaction security management standard. EveryPay is certified according to the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS). All EveryPay services are conducted via secure connections with 256-bit SSL certificates. EveryPay also supports the use of the 3D Secure service, an additional security measure for VISA & MasterCard. The payer will then need to enter their personal secret code to successfully complete the transaction.

Refunds

In the event that prepaid services such as support credits are purchased, you have the right—within 30 days and provided they have not been used—to request the cancellation of the transaction and a refund of your money.

Cooperation with Authorities

Personal data may be disclosed to judicial, police, and other administrative authorities upon their lawful request and in accordance with the applicable legislative provisions in force at the time.

Updates to This Policy

We update this policy whenever necessary. If there are significant changes to the privacy policy or the way we use your personal data, we will publish the updated version on our website and notify you by all available means.

We encourage you to read this policy and the terms of use periodically.

For any questions regarding the control and processing of your personal data, or for requests to obtain copies or delete your data, you may send an email to info@webartstudio.gr.

The use of the Webartstudio website implies the unconditional acceptance of the above terms by the user. These terms may change without notice. Any changes will be published on this page.
